The Shadow Angel Foundation is a strong supporter of the Paducah, National Weather Service. The foundation searches for opportunities to help further the NOAA Weather Radio Program. During the past few years the foundation has directly or indirectly helped distribute thousands of weather radios.

NOAA Weather Radio serves as an alerting device for any life-threatening emergency, whether it's weather-related or not. NOAA Weather Radio, also called NOAA All-Hazards Radio, broadcasts information on chemical spills, forecast fires, and terrorist attacks, in addition to weather hazards.
