April Cohoon was in need of a scooter so that she could go more places and have more freedom. Her family contacted The Shadow Angel Foundation for assistance.  The Foundation agreed to help her in her search for a new scooter and freedom!  We went with the family to a local scooter supplier here in Paducah, Kentucky.  April looked over about six scooters. It took her a little while...but she picked out her favorite and fell in love with it.  It was all Mona, her mother, could do to get her off of it for transport back to Brookport, Illinois! 


April was the happiest person I have seen in a long time! She was all smiles and said, “I am jumping up and down inside!”. 


I think April is going to have a lot of happy miles ahead of her!!!!!
